Jyoti grew up in Sri Aurobindo Ashram and studied in the school there. She has been an artist, educator and dancer amongst many creative pursuits. She has written and illustrated many children’s story books. Currently she is a teacher at the Nandanam Kindergarten in Auroville and continues to experiment and explore her sadhana through painting.
